Great night at Liquid room Edinburgh the first with new line up and it went well big thanks for the positive comments and support

After the sad events of the last few weeks, its time to update on the future of the band Spider is standing down on drums, this has been planned for a while. Spider has contributed to some great songs and we have had some amazing times over the last 10 years and he will be sadly missed and will always be a mate he may return as stand-in from time to time and will play a part in a memorial gig to be planned for Keith

Spider has been replaced by another experienced drummer Tommy from Loaded 44, and previously Dogsflesh. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome Tommy to the band. Additionally the big oaf Steve Hoggart yet again returns to help us out temporarily and we much appreciate it. This time Steve is on lead guitar helping to keep things in the family of Snide until a guitarist can be sourced. We are now starting to rehearse and looking forward to 25th August as our next Gig at Edinburgh Fringe Festival Event at Liquid Room Grassmarket featuring DIRT BOX DISCO

Funeral Arrangements for Keith

The Arrangements for Keiths Funeral are as follows - Service 3pm  Monday 23rd July Saint Bedes Church  Acklam Crematorium Middlesbrough  TS57HD  -  The Wake is to be held at Thornaby Cricket Club TS177JS

Please bring a photo with you if possible for the Memorial Board and dress how ever you want but if you have a Snide Remarks T Shirt  please wear. This is to be a celebration of Keith's Life and everyone is welcome to attend the Service and The  Wake Afterwards 

A Very Sad Day

It is with great sadness we have to announce Keith Barnard founder member and guitarist at Snide Remarks passed away suddenly Tuesday 10th July after been taken into hospital our condalances go to his family at this sad time

Update on the new album its almost finished and ready for mixing so hopefully will be  released over the summer it will be called Life is Hell with 13 tracks on the hard copy CD  format and 12 on digital downloads also we may realise some limited vinyl

Alternative Aycliffe Radio will be playing a Snide Remarks track this Wednesday 21st March towards the end of the show - starts 8pm - playing all the best punk and new wave songs on Aycliffe Radio, with Gaz Avery and Alby Denham. The show goes out every Wednesday 8:00PM till 10:00PM, is repeated Fridays 10:00 till midnight and Saturday midnight till 2:00AM.
