Recording Update

 We will be in the studio 9th January to record 3 new tracks to be released on digital format in the spring and working on a remixed version of 2014 album Resurekted for vinyl and digital release.

2022

 First gig in 2022 will be Bannermans Edinburgh Friday 21st Jan 

Drummer Update

 Tommy Heaney will be returning to the band for the odd gig and will be sharing  drumming duties with Conor Mc Naughton in  2022 until a permanent drummer can be found 

Unfortunately Spider our drummer has called it a day and we will be looking for a new drummer.  Conor Mc Naughton will continue to stand in on drums until a replacement is made we wish Spider good luck in the future and we appreciate what he has brought to the band over the years  .

 Pleased to announce we will be doing two gigs with the The Sex Pistols Expose next Year previously (The Sex Pistols Experience ) on 18th March and 28th Oct 2022 

 Baz and Fal make an appearance at the Georgian Theatre Stockton tonight in local band  Johnny Seven (All Stars) with artists from all around the country featuring for Paul Ford's 60th Birthday (drummer for Johnny Seven). Then Snide Remarks travel to Scotland at Cumnock for Saturday. 

Was a cracking weekend with XSLF in Sept  we looking forward to more supports with them in the coming months next for us in October is two dates in Scotland at Cumnock and Dundee and one at The NE  Music Lounge  Stockton   

 We are looking forward this weekend to the another crazy time with great friends XSLF plus Bri (Kid Chaos) will also be playing with The Floral Detectives at The Three Tuns also 

 

 Our own annual Charity Fund Raiser Party for Barney has finally be rearranged for 1st May 2022 at The Georgian Theatre Stockton On Tees

UNFORTUNATELY CANCELLED DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS

 We are pleased to announce we will be playing with The ( John Rossall ) founder of Glitter Band on his  Farewell Tour at The Don Museum Last Post Bar Thornaby Stockton  on Sunday 11th July. 

A new date has been booked for PARTY FOR BARNEY at The Georgian Theatre Stockton Sunday Bank Holiday 1st May 2022 bands will be be announced soon 

We looking forward to a weekend of madness with Henry Cluney from Stiff Little Fingers with his band   XSLF 3rd Sept The Three Tuns Gateshead and 4th September at The Don Military  Memorial Museum (The Last Post Bar ) Thornaby on Tees

 Hi Folks if you wondering what we been up to the last few month we have been working on new material which will be tried out this summer and hopefully we will have enough to record by the end of the year.We have new  bookings for 2021/22 in Blackpool Manchester and Dundee with plenty more to be confirmed  soon.    

 Unfortunately Party for Barney has been cancelled Easter Sunday 2021 yet again at Georgian Theatre Stockton on Tees this is due to the uncertainty with Covid Situation. We have decided not to publish any bookings until a time in the future that  lets us announce gigs with confidence  that  they will actually  happen.We are continuing to rehearse and work on new material ,with a live album release later this year recorded in 2013,  stay safe folks hopefully the nightmare will end by the summer  of  2021 and normal service can resume.
